Do not purchase if you think its not going to take patience and attention. THIS IS NOTHING LIKE PROPANE OR ELECTRIC. Charcoal requires keeping an eye on and adding more when needed same for wood chips. I checked the coal every 45 minutes. The first time I waited an hour and it was almost empty. Pros: Sturdy construction. Easy assembly, took about 10 mins Drawers for the water bowl and charcoal makes it easy to add to pans and not loose smoke/heat in the main area. Con: I am thinking about replacing the thermometer with a wireless one so I can keep an eye on the temp in the house. This will help regulate the temp better. The charcoal dish could stand to be deeper. I LOVE IT!!!
